Lee Horne (L-LA)

Libertarian Candidate for Governor of Louisiana

About Me

Born: December 21, 1950, Athens, Georgia. I was raised in Franklin, Louisiana. I am a member of the Full Gospel Community Church of Franklin. I am divorced. I have a daughter and a grandson. I ran for Governor of Louisiana in 2007.

My Interests

My interests are learning, exploring, meeting new people, hearing new views, understanding the why of things and ideas. I like to find better ways to make things work. Things could be a car, a computer, the plumbing in my house, or my own body and mind. I like to know "What is really going on and how can it be better?"

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet Adam and Eve to hear the full story of the Garden of Eden.I'd like to meet the leaders of the worlds religions and ask them what is true in the teaching attributed to them and what is false. There are way to many contradictions within the quotes attributed to each for all the quotes to be true. Errors must have crept in through retelling and recopying of the stories through the years. I believe, once the errors are removed that all the religions will have much less to fight about internal and externally.I'd like to meet the man who put the "bomp" in the bomp sha bomp bomp, the "ram" in the ram a la a ding dong. Because he made my baby fall in love with me. Okay, that is probably too old for most reading this. It's a quote from a fun happy song of the 1950's or 1960's.

A thought for the coming elections:

If human beings are fundamentally good, no government is necessary; if they are fundamentally bad, any government, being composed of human beings, would be bad also. - Fred Woodworth
