About Me

Adam grew up in the small farming town of Gilmer, Texas with a population of only 4500. Located in the rural northeast section of Texas, this town has had its fair share of musical success stories. Johnny Mathis, Don Henley and Jason Sellers have all become musical icons in their respective genres and Adam has his sights set on following in their footsteps.Adam was born into a family of acclaimed singers and performers. For much of his childhood, his parents performed all over East Texas in the band "Wind River". Adam's musical debut came at the age of four when he and his sister sang "God and the Rain Will Bring it Back" at the Longview Opry.It didn't take Adam long to realize his passion for singing and entertaining. He would go on to sing at numerous church activities and school events. This environment fostered Adam's desire to make music as well.Adam's childhood also taught him about hard work and how there are no short cuts in obtaining your dream. While singing occupied much of their weekends, His parents owned and operated a dairy farm. He also had 8 uncles on both sides of his family that owned their own dairies as well. Whether it was spending 6 hours mowing the yard (with a push mower that is), working in the hay fields or waking up at 4am to milk the cows, Adam learned how to persevere.Adam developed his competitive nature through playing and excelling at football, basketball, baseball and track. His desire to excel afforded him the chance of playing basketball at the college level in Arizona and the opportunity to meet his wife. After getting married, Adam realized that music was what he really loved to make, and with the support of his wife he decided to begin to chase that dream. Adam began his singing career in Longview, Texas at the Reo Palm Isle in 2000. As the lead singer and guitar player of the house band, he began opening for artists such as Leroy Parnell, Andy Griggs and Rascal Flatts. As a young boy in Gilmer, the only radio stations to choose from were mostly country. For Adam it was country greats Merle Haggard, Ricky Skaggs and of coarse George Strait that helped root his love for country music. He developed a real appreciation for the pure and traditional sound of country but as he got a bit older he became amazed by the vocal talents of artists such as Marty Raybon (Shenandoah), Alison Krauss and more than anyone else Bryan White. In Adams words, these artists will just blow you away with their vocal ability.Adam has been in Nashville since 2003 and is taking all the neccesary steps. He spends every moment that he's not with his family or operating his business, writing new music, or in the studio crafting and honing his sound. Adam's singing is like none other. You just can't compare it to anything else you have ever heard.
