About Me

grampadrew is an acoustic solo artist who was just nominated for Best Alt. Country by The San Diego HAT Awards. The debut EP, clairvoyant adventure, has been well received with radio airplay on FM94.9, 91X, FRSD 96.9, and your cooler radio stations across the country. . . .the ep was recorded with no effects (except reverb on 'ladybug tattoo') and minimal EQing. the idea was to get the sound with mic placement alone.
San Diego City Beat says "Hallelujah" about grampadrew's live show, in which he incorporates a DIY wooden "porch board" for footstompin' good times, and isn't adverse to throwing in a glenn cambell cover just to stir things up. not exactly what you'd expect from someone who grew up with a punk rock aesthetic. the show is acoustic, but expect some experimentin', and mainly, expect to enjoy a show in which the performer gives it all he's got.
grampadrew is currently working on a full length CD that will be out by the years end. stay tuned for sneak peaks of the new album as it's being recorded.

The Live Lounge at SDSC January 7th
