About Me

BROKEN HALO is quickly becoming one of the most popular rock acts in Winnipeg, and fans arent the only ones taking notice. On the strength of their 6-song debut EP, BROKEN HALO snagged a spot at Canadas largest outdoor music festival, Stage 13, in Camrose, AB - playing alongside acts like Sum 41, Evanescence, ZZ Top, Pilate, The Trews, Hawksley Workman and many more.
Most recently they have been burning up the airwaves on Winnipeg's FREQ 107 FM with their single "Gagged and Bound", which recently jumped into heavy rotation. The song also currently sits at ..5 on the Hard Rock charts at popular international independent music website garageband.com . Their success at GarageBand has garnered interest from major and independent labels around the world, such as Island Records. The band is currently finishing up their upcoming debut album due for release August 2006.
The band's strength lies in their creative songwriting, masterful guitar work and strong vocals. They continue to write stronger, more diverse material so be certain to keep listening for more from this young and talented group.
