A new Console War single, "Pipe or Gun," will be released next week with me on vocals, synth, and drums. The new EP will be released in Spring 2008.
As a descendant of Jazz greats (Larry Shields, Original Dixieland Jazz Band), I have made it my goal to continue pushing the boundaries of music.
I pride myself on innovation, while studying the masters of the past as well. One moment I might be running synth loops and samples, and the next I'm drumming with a microphone in hand through an effects processor to create ambient soundscapes. The song after, I'm blowing air into my rack tom for pitch-bending blasts and sweeping rolls. I also know when to not overplay.I studied under Jazz and Broadway drummer Matt Ritter in New York City, and am now back in the DC area and ready to get drumming.

I drum a completely custom-made Mapleworks drum kit with Sabian cymbals. I also use a Roland SP-808 ex, Yamaha EX7 synthesizer, and depending on the gig live drum looping in Ableton Live 6.
I also have a lot of experience with press, marketing, live sound, recording, and booking. I have worked in indie-rock, modern rock, female-fronted modern rock, and more.
