At a young age of only 15, Bennie Siegal oozed into his first internship with Bay Area’s KYLD/ San Francisco (WILD 94.9 The Bay Area’s Party Station). He began his radio career as a promotions intern and he caught the radio bug and ever since then he has stayed highly motivated which lead him to his accomplishments.
It is hard to decipher what clothes to wear at 15 let alone having your whole career mapped out. Bennie knew as soon as he stepped into KYLD, that he will never be the same and he was destined for radio. He dedicated his time and energy to make his radio career take full force by any means. Barely legal, Bennie become one of the Promotions Driver and this certified the trust and reliability the station authorities had for Bennie. Despite the young age-he was embraced by his bosses to carry on vast responsibilities. The same week as he was hired to become a Promotion’s Driver, he also landed his weekend on air shift.
Bennie was breaking all rules because he moved up within the corporate ladder and accomplished year’s worth of work into months. The moment he set foot for his first on air shift-he knew at this point he wanted to control not just the airwaves but also to control the play list for the station. Within months, he was approached for a full time position in Fresno, California at KSEQ as the night show host.
Making the transition Bennie indeed took the offer and impacted Fresno with his unique voice and also spiced the play list helping with the music. At this point, Bennie’s motivation, dedication, and commitment for radio blossomed to higher levels. He brought a new sound to Fresno, and being that he is Bay influenced he was way ahead of his time with his music selection. Knowing the Bay’s culture and music would take the mainstream road-he already had stations taking the Bay Area’s music more seriously than before. Before he can even settle in Fresno, he was offered an amazing opportunity to help create a top 40 Rhythmic Station in San Diego, California.
As he travels Southbound, Bennie was one of the founders of the New Blazin 98.9 which had number one ratings. He recently had the number one night show in all of Southern California and continues to do so through his sensual persona that grasps a variety of listeners.

The Playaz Club Night Show with Bennie Siegal everynight 6pm-10pm. His show consists of different elements, from local artist music being heard, to A-List stars making guest appearances, to the crazy stunts and contests he performs. He gives back to the community by consistently visiting high schools and creating community events to keep families involved within the community. It is never certain where Bennie will be in five years, non-the-less there is no doubt he will be reaching new goals and accomplishing tasks that were looked upon as impossible. Do you GOT BENNIE?
