Unlike other various artists on the rise, Meeze is dead set on not following in any one else’s footsteps. The artist provides us with a sound that’s refreshing by delivering an intoxicating flow filled with actual lyrical content. Not just resting on the faith of a hot track. Because he is an artist that believes in the quality of the music first versus the production, Bigg Meeze is certainly unlike anyone else out there.Growing up in Sacramento didn’t offer much of a blueprint for hip hop, so when the emcee decided to pursue a career in the rap game, at the age of 13, he knew that he would have to trail blaze his own path. And that is just what he has been doing. The California grown artist started off his career writing his own rhymes and producing his own tracks in a make shift home studio consisting of just two mic's, a keyboard, and a recorder. Though production was extremely raw, his dedication to his craft led him to become the youngest artist signed to Infinite Music Group music label, where he began to hone his recording skills. Due to financial difficulties with the company, it was in the best interest of the artist to move on.From there Bigg Meeze began working with artist such as D-Milli, recording a couple of songs including U Done Me Wrong produced by DJ Felli Fel; appeared on the soundtrack /compilation album Waste Management. This project also included appearances from various other artists such as AP9, Federation, Big Syke, Badd Azz,
Mac & AK, Cognito, and many more. As a direct effect of his appearances on this and other various projects, Meeze began being booked fro many showcases and performances. During a performance at the Amphitheatre in Tahoe alongside fellow emcee and cousin J.Gib, another hot Sacramento artist, the two artists ripped the stage so hard that they were called back for an encore not only once but twice to rock the crowd again and again. Thus offering evidence that the musical prowess does indeed run in the family.While working on his album Meeze kept his ear to the streets. He bean creating a bigger buzz and a name for himself by battling other California rappers like Celly Cel and the whole Mobb Figgas.Since then the artist has continued to perform throughout California, most recently at the Monte Blue casino in Tahoe. He has also hooked up with producers Kajmir, Mr. K-A, Shadowville, and Jae Synth as well as other up and coming artist out of Sac like Mayhem Exclusive in production for his upcoming, and much anticipated album.
