Mayhem XclusiveName: Mayhem Xclusive Aliases: The Show or Mr. Hard to get Style: Versatile-mostly lyricalI started penning rap verses when I was 14 years old, barely a freshman at Kennedy High School. Experimenting one day in my room with my stepbrother’s tape recorder, I created some lyrics. The first lyrics I ever made to were wack, but I felt I had potential. As I grew older I began writing more, and started a group with my friend at the time Ricardo. We were just dreamers, but had it implemented in our minds we were gonna be big. Still never recording a demo or an album, we were determined to make it. As I reached 17, I began recording with this guy named "Do-boy" a guy we met through mutual friends. We made tapes on his 4 track recorder and his yamaha keyboard. We made good underground music, by this time I had switched schools and started attending Valley High. A small buzz circulated with these underground tapes and got known around Valley. Do-boy brought out my delivery, and showed me the importance of rhyme scheme and how to count bars. Then, about nine other plus Do-boy and I a total of 11 formed a (Wu tang like) clique called the "Major League Coalition" (MLC). Everything was good at first, but lets be honest 9 to 10 cats in the same group with highly inflated egos including me, wasn’t going to work. Plus I was still in my own individual group, of a rotating four called "The Gamerz" one included my current group member Gamer Gabb. I’ve been bustin’ for 13 plus years, and although I’ve had ups and downs, the experience has helped me get a whole lot better. I began to dig deeper in my talent and imagination, and creativity, and as a bonus started using more vocabulary. After departing from the MLC and narrowing my rotating four from the Gamerz down to 2. We decided to rename the group. My current group member Gamer Gabb and I took the took the "Major League" from Major League Coalition and merged it with the "Gamerz" to come up with the Major League Gamerz (M.L. Gamerz). I’m now going in different directions now a days, there’s still somethin in me that never left, and it’s called hunger. Now that I’ve completed my Pro Tools, and recording techniques courses at Sac City I plan to utilize the things I learned there to either start my own empire, or get a deal. Very funny I live in Sac! On the real I plan to let the production side of me free as i enter my 5th year making beats and mixing. Plus adding a live instrumentation to my craft just to be different. No Im not HYPHY!, but being from the west I respect the movement get money, Plus thats bay shit I’m from Sac.I feel my creativity and talent will help me to advance by getting a deal or doing it independently. Its gonna take me to keep grindin’ or the Right A&R will find me, and finally will see my talent and vision. When my ambitions and goals come reality, and they will. I promise and solemnly swear to put the talented Sacramento City on the map. Just think a whole city of undrafted players starving to get in the league of many. while we suffer with this fake shit on the radio. Sacramento is uncharted land flying under the radar or jaded by Gangsta rap or Hyphy music -- biters please jump on the band wagon, while me and my fam stay true to lyricism. 1 luv -- Xclusive Get @ me. Sacramento stand up !!!! Oh yeah, we love rap music so should the masses.
