Rob purchased his first tables at the age of 14 before turntablism was a widely recognized musical force- when JamMaster Jay, Cash Money, Jazzy Jeff and Aladdin were on the scene and tables were just beginning to be more widely recognized. He taught himself to scratch without the aid of other djs simply because they were far and few between. Rob started his career on two MK 1200 Technics tables and a Gemini mixer and began his production on a 4 track and an 8 second sampler.
