About Me

The Mid-West has gained a reputation for being the more "unpredictable" region out of the 4. Being influenced by surrounding places added on to their own sound has brought forth many provocative artists hailing from the area. That could possibly be another reason aside from his powerful voice, laid back delivery, fluid flow and straightforward lyrics that sets Xcursion apart from the rest of the artists emerging on the scene. One way or the other, X is set to garner a legacy in a class of his own. Born in North Akron's Elizabeth Park Projects and raised in many other areas within the city, Donte "Xcursion" Feaster inherited music. Father being a notable name in Akron's DJ scene and said to have a relation to Gladys Knight, he involved himself with the rap genre at the age of 10 under the influences of Nas, KRS-One, Rakim, 2pac, Biggie and others within the '94 era. Rhyming became a way to let out the troubles he found as the times changed with his locations. Come 2000, Xcursion gained an initial buzz through the street corner battles he faced. His claim to fame would soon translate into the mixtape circuit after linking up with D. Brooks and Nardi Cool to make his official debut on the "K.O.B.K."(Kill Or Be Killed) mixtape. Further appearances would follow with San Diego rapper Ge'Nome's "Sentence" project and landing a co-starring role in "The Best Ya Never Heard vol. 1" with Kyzer Sosa. Currently, X has released his own solo mixtape entitled "Black Market". Also, a debut album is in the works with sights set on making 2006 even more promising than the prior years building to this point.
