Kyzer's story starts out like most with a few variations. After moving from NY to the Detroit area then out to Milwaukee, finally having a stable place to grow up. After a few years of adjustment, he started listening to the music his mother used to play when he was younger. Growing up on Marvin Gaye, The Temptations and other soul greats, Sosa never looked at rap as something he'd end up getting into. The first time he listened to any rap lyrics was 2pac's, Strickly 4 My Niggaz and Geto Boyz Ressurection albums. It wasn't until the age of 16, after his friends heard poetry and mumblings of a few lines that it took to him. It wasn't until 2001 and moving to Ohio that Sosa started going through notebook after notebook, writing rhymes, emulating various MC's he started to study. Following the styles of Masta Ace, Notorious Big, Raekwon and other prominent East Coast rappers, it influenced him to let his words take flight. In 2002, He met Xcursion, a local MC and soon began recording under the name Tha Usual Suspectz. In 2005, they linked up with Paris, a female MC out of Amityville, NY. In 2006, Sosa began recording on his debut solo album, Life Outside The Lines, which details his life before and after rap became a part of his life. In 2007, Kyzer has already had a nice beginning, he's performed at various venues in the Cleveland/Akron area and is looking to continue. 2007 and beyond, will be Sosa's as well as Tha Usual Suspectz' time. Gotta Be Me, Street Love and Gun Talk are also featured on mixtapes in California, Ohio and Florida. Kyzer is also hard at work on his follow up album to Life Outside The Lines and it is entitled The Journey, as well as the Stand Alone Complex mixtape series coming soon. Currently Kyzer Sosa has been featured on the following mixtapes: Charli Marli's Get Money vol 4 which is in current rotation in the Orlando/Miami area.
