First Mind Records was formed in 2001 as a proposition to promote young artist. The primary goal for this endeavor was to establish a way to develop, promote, and manage a project from within and not to have to bring in entities from the outside with other influences and agendas, but rather to send a message to the streets that you can take care of your own business. The "First Mind" concept is to not second guess yourself, but to follow your first mind because usually that's the right choice. "First Mind" suggests letting your conscience be your guide, which is that third eye that's always open to bring your inner wisdom to every situation you face in life.
