Welcome to The Parlour, Northamptonshire's premier recording and production studio. The Parlour features state of the art equipment and acoustics. Our air-conditioned control room is equipped with an Audient ASP8024 analogue console and some of the finest outboard available. This perfectly compliments our industry standard ProTools HD3 Accel digital recording and editing system. The combination of analogue sound and digital freedom is unrivalled. The studio also features a large, great sounding live room, vocal booth and artist's lounge. Remember, a superb recording does not have to cost a fortune.
The Parlour Recording Studio
Control room
Measuring 15 by 14 feet, the control room is both spacious and acoustically designed to ensure your mixes sound great both in the studio and when you get your CD home. The control room is totally isolated from the other rooms and features air conditioning and fresh air replacement to ensure your comfort.
Live Room
Our large live room (23 by 20 feet) can accommodate large groups of musicians. The acoustics in this room are superb and this really makes a difference to the recording. In the lively end of the room drums sound huge and vibrant and the dead end provides a more intimate sound. The room is fully isolated from the control room and the outside world and features a floating, wood floor, fresh air replacement and views of both the isolation booth and the control room.
Isolation booth
The booth has been designed to be acoustically dead. It measures 10 by 6 feet and features a floating, wood floor and views of both the control room and the live room.
Artists Lounge
To ensure maximum comfort, our clients can have full use of our lounge area. The lounge features a fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave and kettle. Also included is a full size pool table and games console.
