unusual places,roller derby, striped socks, travel, shiny things, seeking odd records, books, dive bars, wfmu.org (the best radio station ever), big cities and wild places, bird watching, monster movies and 50's sci-fi, good food, cheap beer, dumb dogs, art house movies, wood working (i am in fact a woodworker), baking bread, collecting what ever happens to take my fancy--usually mod furniture, girly vintage "winky" pictures, records, toys, kitchenware, useless bits of string and yarn, music (of course, i mean really, who doesn't like music?), cheese, boston terriers, squishy pillows, perfumes that smell like food items, skates, camping, fire hazards, power tools, you name it i'll try it once, if i don't like it i'll just smack ya.

evil dead, like water for chocolate, city of the lost children, nightmare before x-mas, any mystery science theater, the creature from the black lagoon, tank girl, mars needs women, anything with vincent price, a fine ed wood flick, cartoons!- animated by hand or cgi, bubba ho-tep, delicatessen, the thin man, bringing up baby, old monster sci-fi, arty flicks, documentaries, whatevah strikes my fancy.
the only thing i can say i have watched lately is family guy, mythbusters and dirty jobs. i am not a big tv watcher. mind you i can get my lazy on and watch empty-headed crap while eating things that are bad for me all day on a crappy winter sunday. oh and invader zim, gosh thats a swell cartoon!
