No Identity was formed by three brother in the summer of 2002. The three of them started to teach themselves how to play guitar and learned a few songs. After a year of practicing they found a drummer (Ryan Rody) to sit in with them. Although they were rough around the edges they realized that with practice they could entertain. No Identity landed their first show at the Hangar 18 Night Club in September of 2003 with John on lead vocals, Matt on lead guitar, Josh on rhythm guitar, and Ryan on drums. They played two 12 song sets and had a blast. Shortly after the show Ryan had decided he had a higher calling and joined the United States Air Force. The band decided to re-tool. John purchased a drum set and started practicing where Ryan left off. Josh purchased a bass, and Matt continued to play guitar. The band continued to work on the music while searching for a lead singer. Finally in the summer of 2004 Lance Potts joined the band on lead vocals. No Identity played its first show with Lance at Quenchers in Peru, IN on September 24th, 2004. The band continued to perform around the state through June of 2005 when Lance left to pursue a career in broadcasting.Luckily fate played a huge role and Josh knew of a guy working with the same company as him but in a different office. Jeremy Hall of Onward, IN auditioned and instantly won the respect of the band. Jeremy's first show was on July 22nd at Quenchers. The show was a huge success. No Identity has since performed in new clubs and continues to add new material at a record pace. Their raw and undisciplined approach leaves room for vast improvement, but their sound has been complimented everywhere they play. This is the first time in the band's short history that all members have lived so close together, making it easier to practice and perform at a high level. If you have not seen No Identity perform live, see them next time they are in your hometown, you won't be disappointed
