Air conditioned rock that slows Global Warming!!

About Me

Webster Street is a 3-man band out of Indiana. The threesome has been playing together for about 10 years... They took off to Texas in mid June of 07 for a 4 to 6 week tour and to get some recognition in the south...They recently got voted into the finals of the Zippo Hot Tour 06!!!...Top 10 in the nation out of 1000 other great bands is'nt bad.. Webster Street consists of, Mike Murray, Scott Schave, and Pat Murray... The two brothers share lead vocals and play their instruments... Mike plays rythm and lead guitars while Pat plays drums....Scott brings powerful bass chords to compliment the brothers....The brothers harmonizations, are that of two men who grew up together....Pat said" How am I NOT supposed to sound like Mike??? I've known him my whole life!!! He's my brother!!!"...Simply put...Scott, known as the "REFEREE" for Mike and Pat, deals with it in a way that brings a unity between two siblings who would not be so tight knit, without music...And growth and strife combined together has bonded three men together to not only fight for the "American Dream"....But live it as well.....In a recent article in "Nuvo" magazine, they were described as a powerful trio with meaningful lyrics and great talent... Their first album, Ryan's Dog, was put on the market in July of 2005 and is available for purchasing throughout Indiana. Since the album is a mix between rock, punk, blues, and metal, its hard to pick a favorite among fans. Their producer Mike Hoffmann put his magical touch to the album by pushing the band to be a little more open with their musical minds...... And has it ever payed off!! Hoffmann has worked with the likes of The Verve Pipe, The Violent Femmes, and Freshwater Collins to name a few....He also had this to say about Webster Street..."I want you to love Webster Street. I want you to know and love them because they are a part of me, and me of them. They come from America's Middle, as do I, and create a brand of thick melodic original rock and roll that cannot be found any place in the world. There is real content, honest thought provoking storytelling, serious issues draped in gorgeous rock grooves. It is American Folkrock at its most original. Please find them, and then you'll love Webster Street like I do." --Mike Hoffmann....With their next album" BEAUTIFUL ACCIDENT" coming out in late 2007. You will get to see not only a spiritual side of the band, but also a very political side also... With songs such as "Candy Coated Candidate", which is directed torward politicians and bad break-ups...Or the song " Burn Our Thrones",written by Mike Murray, which is a direct insight to WAR in the MIDDLE EAST...GOD BE WITH ALL OF YOU FIGHTING OVERSEAS....With such a diverse look on "LIFE' as we know it....Maybe you will want to join Webster Street in the revolution against the death of the" American Dream". So keep your eyes peeled for some of the newest tracks!!!
