About Me

The band Midnight Gypsy has opened for national recording artist Stephen Cochran, and performed at numerous community events, including the 2007 Strawberry Fest, fundraisers for Wabash County resident Emily King who tragically lost her life in April of '07, and a Madison County resident living with ALS (visit http://www.claudiasfamily.com/goenpalooza for more information), the 2007 Wabash Relay For Life, a fundraiser for the Kokomo Crisis Center, and a fundraiser for St. Jude's. Also, Amber continues to perform the National Anthem at the Ft. Wayne Memorial Coliseum, or wherever she is called to do so! ************************************************ Well, how did we begin? Guitarist Matt Willis and bass player Doug Stacy were looking for the right musicians to form a new band. Rhythm guitarist Dave Brown & lead vocalist Amber Lyn Childers have played together in several bands since 2005, and were looking for something fresh. The 2 groups came together perfectly! After discovering drummer Ian Kaehr. Midnight Gypsy was formed. Several changes took place...Ian had a baby in July 2007 and decided to pursue family life, so we picked up his dad Jeff as our new drummer! LOL The apple does not fall far from the tree in the Kaehr family! Doug decided to pursue other options, and left in August 2007. That's when Dennis Wiles entered the picture. Midnight Gypsy continued without missing a beat! For booking information, call 765-469-4688 Myspace Layouts
