Influenced. That one word sums up Wrythm in a nutshell. Though southern-bred, his musical tastes branch from all over. Artists and bands such as The Roots, Little Brother, T.I., Ludacris, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Royce Da 5'9", Eminem, Tech N9ne, Nas, Field Mob and Rhymefest to name a few, all have made Wrythm's love for the hip-hop culture beyond comprehension. Listening to hip-hop from an early age, to writing rhymes at age 12, to recording at age 18, the journey from avid fan and listener to devoted artist has been an adventurous one. Mentored by many already polished emcees, Wrythm has now crafted many sounds, flows, and rhyme schemes that he showcases whenever possible. The word "diverse" comes to mind when you hear a Wrythm CD. His song-making abilities, although they favor the conscious style, reach out to styles such street, crunk, emotional, and beyond. He's never been afraid to try something new, all the while staying true to what he projects into a microphone.

At first glance, you wouldn't say, "Hey, he looks like a rapper". That's because while he does love the urban culture, he's never been one to follow fads and the "next big thing" to hit the streets. A three word motto he loves to use is "Just do you". Somewhat fed up with all of the clones rap has created in the recent years, he loves to stress and preach the concept of originality. As he continues to sharpen and polish his emceeing, he's also dabbling in the arts of DJing and Producing.

With the talent Wrythm has, the sky is the limit. What's scary is, there's talent he hasn't discovered within himself yet. He shows signs of elevation with each new song. Just imagine what the years ahead have in store.
