You should know some things about me. First off, I have the tendency of writing like an English professor with an extraordinary comprehension of the English language. I ain't know where it come from yall, fa real tho. Secondly, I am the anti-rapper. Not only is my music the complete opposite of the garbage that's being passed off as hip hop these days, but I hate the majority of rap music. So why do I involve myself in a genre that I despise? I believe in it. When used properly, I think hip hop is the best genre to CLEARLY convey opinions and emotions. So that's what I do..I do that whole "make music with content" thing, even though I know I have a reduced shot of making large amounts of money and signing the illusive "deal." My music is conceptual, thoughtful, never half-assed, with an OCCASIONAL profanity-laced track about nothing in particularhow music SHOULD be...which leads me to the third thing about me. A lot of people think that I take music too seriously. Interesting...because I think those people don't take it seriously enough. Funny how I can list dozens of reasons why the mainstream hip hop is poisoning black people everywhere, but all they can tell me is "Hey, it's just music." Me: 12, You: 1. Go home. Lastly, as you probably have noticed, I'm cursed with exceptional intelligence and common sense. It has caused severe pessimistic thinking over the years and has even been known to interfere with my social life...or what's left of it. FINALLY, I plan on not wasting the talents I'm in the process of perfecting as I intend on entering a career in the music business somehow or in journalism. So thats me. If you're an ambitious and at least a SOMEWHAT interesting person, I'd love to hear from you to just shoot the breeze sometime. HOLLA!
