THE FAMILY BUZZARD

Genuine British

About Me

The Family Buzzard hatched onto the music scene in the bleak midwinter of 2005. Their plan is to ruffle a few feathers with an eclectic mix of skiffle, country and folk - all encased in pop sensibilities.

...and pop along to our YouTube channel to watch us playing "Three Headed Woman" at the 2006 HRB Fayre, and (if you look in our Favourites) playing "Anticipating Love" at Sirius last year.
A live recording of our song "5 Nights" appears on the HRB Unsigned Live - Volume 1 album. Just £5 for 16 tracks, all recorded live at the Hospital Radio Bedside Studios at Bournemouth Hospital. Click the flyer below to visit the HRB Unsigned minisite to hear a preview of each track and find out how to grab a copy.

Sounds Like: "Musically influenced by American roots from the 50s to the 70s...Whilst the rootsy sound is drawn from three decades, the vibe is late 60s, laid back and reflective, Bonzo Dog meets Mama Cass".
~TONY FOSTER of bh one

"...A mix of folk, blues, Beatles style and whatever else that mixing pot needs to make a fantastic bunch of songs...A brilliant range of styles bringing the audience from laughter to deep introspection...Their sound is full and lively, as is their performance".
~FRANKIE MILNER of Sirius

"They are quirky, amusing and look cool. All of which is great, but would amount to nothing if the songs weren’t great. Thankfully they are!"
