My name is Ronald Lee Ermey and you probably know me from one of the many kickass movies or TV shows I've been in, including Full Metal Jacket and Mail Call. I am a retired US Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant so don't mess with me or I'll beat your ass down harder than you can even imagine. I was in the Corps for 11 years and served one and a half tours in Vietnam until I was discharged due to an injury. After the war I went and got myself some college education and started my career as an actor.
While in the Corps I earned the following awards, for service, dedication and all around ass kicking.
