I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

It's not about me, but if you care to know I'm 6'3", 175 lbs w/ hazel eyes. My life, as of now, is a fresh palette. I am ready to paint it, but my fear is the colors will all bleed together. However, there is no fear in love. So, I will do as I must and be who I need to be. And where's my cigarette? Is it in the bathroom? The bathtub? Anyway, I almost wish I hadn't gone down the rabbit hole. And yet, and yet, it's rather curious. You know this sort of life! Ever feel like you are staring through the looking glass? Somehow it seems to fill my head with ideas, only I don't know exactly what they are. I think that the past can be a dark place to visit, but when you find yourself stuck in reverse, one can find the frame of mind that is essential to his/her well being. But I suggest you not stare at it too closely. Sorry, did I type all that for real? I was just thinking out loud, I guess.*GRINS Seriously, I love to sing. I like to write, read, listen to music, lose myself in a movie, on occasion. Need to get back into my art again. I have fronted numerous bands in St. Louis, all original acts. I have been lucky enough to open up shows for the following bands, in the past, and they are as follows: Jars of Clay, Mudvayne, 40 Below Summer, Unloco, E-Town Concrete, Sworn Enemy and Dog Fashion Disco. I am an abstract thinker and artist. I like allegory and irony. I write about the human condition. I do have a fun side, as well, I like to go places ranging from the art museum to watching live music. When I go to the zoo I like to watch the seals, I don't know why... Enjoy my son, whom I get every other w/e. He is a large part of my purpose. I am a people watcher and like to over analyze things sometimes. 'Cause I'm silly like that, Silly! Oh, my right hand, in case you noticed and were wondering.... I was born like that. FYI ..As if you cared to know that.......... (Hmm) Let's see, what else, um my favorite color is green. I was raised Southern Baptist and went to a small private school K-12. Glad that's over with. I am a Christian, not the model one by any means. I like to study different religions, etc. Incorporate different things into it, plus it is good to know what you are talking about in such a conversation. Monotheism, I guess you would say, but I don't go to church. I have a few tat's, plan to add to those. Both my ears are pierced, as well as my lebret piercing. That's all that comes to mind right now, otherwise last but not least, if you care to hear what I sound like singing then check out myspace.com/ockumsrazor (Yes, I know it is not spelled with a "u", it is an originality thing.) Plus, there is like 5-6 different spellings of it anyway...

My Interests

I'm Welsh and Irish, so obviously, music and singing. Art, visiting museums, etc. Movies occasionally. Live music, running, walking. Thinking about playing some soccer again. That is my natural sport, my acquired sport is basketball. Um, well spending time with my son and family/friends. My dog Derby, he is a beagle and freaking stubborn as hell. He is cool, though. I am interested in philosophy and would like to learn more about the human mind, I find it quite fascinating. Yes, of course, I enjoy swimming and outdoor stuff; however in the past I had too many responsibilities to be able to enjoy that sort of thing. Depends on the company and how I feel at the time, I guess.

I'd like to meet:

Looking to make some new acquaintences, friends. Alot of my friends are married, busy, too far away. We are at different places in life. I would like to meet other vocalist's and musicians/artists.
