Beautiful Trouble is diverse. That's the first thing you notice about them. Different ethnicities, different backgrounds, but little drama. There's enough of that outside of the music (i.e., with women), hence the name. They hail from the various music scenes in New York, Nashville, and Atlanta, but met in San Diego, where they formed in 2005. Beautiful Trouble recorded their self-titled EP later that winter which was well-received by the local press. They gave out free CD's at shows, which helped them quickly build a strong following and MySpace presence. Beautiful Trouble then stepped up regional support by playing in Orange County, the Inland Empire and Los Angeles. They opened for acts such as Juke Kartel and the infamous Whitestarr and returned home to headline major shows at San Diego's top venues. In early 2007, Beautiful Trouble went back into the studio with producer Alan Sanderson (Weezer, Rolling Stones, Fiona Apple) to begin working on a new album, and its first single "Sorry" has already received substantial airplay. They will be launching a national tour this summer.
