Hi everyone! I'm Jesse Valor and I'm a singer/ songwriter just trying to promote my music with the help of myspace. Gee, what a great idea! This site is a work in progress and I'm efforting on uploading more songs here, so please bear with me. Believe In Me
One of many jobs I've held in the past was a photographer for a company that specialized in family and child portraits. Working with children was a challenge and had its ups and downs. However, in the end, it was absoutely worth it. I could remember times where it was so difficult to get a child to smile for the camera, no matter what I did. One of the lines I always used on them was, "I know you've got a million smiles locked up in there and all I need is one good one. After that, your mommy and daddy will take you to McDonald's." Worked all the time. The rest is history.
Dream Away
When I was in high school, I used to jam with other musician friends who had the same aspirations as I did. We used to talk about how great it was going to be when we finally get out of school and how we were determined to make our musical dreams a reality. I didn't write this song until about a year after I graduated, when I was in college. Most of the lyrics here are actual words that have been spoken before the song was ever written.
