Disabled, but still has a life

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Welcome to my world... My name is John and I dont really like to talk about me too much. But since this is the about me section, I will tell you this. I had a dramatic situation happen to me in 2005 while skiing. I caught a tree on a jump and broke my back. While this could have easily ended my life, I have taken it as an opportunity to try to help people with disabilities. If you want to know more about me, email me. Otherwise read about what little projects I am working on to help people get on with their life.
The first project is my television show.

I am trying to get a television show about different disabled athletes on the air. With the help of Remote Broadcasts, Inc in Denver, Colorado, we shot this footage and are pitching it to various television stations. I have more about the show in the blogs above.
Project Number 2:
I havent been working on this too much lately, just because I have had too many other things going on. However, I would love to see a company like Disney or a museum like the Smithsonian build a display which would simulate the various physical disabilities. I think it would be a great educational display so that people could experience what life would be if they had to deal with blindness or paralysis, or whatever.
Project Number 3:
This is my most important project. I really feel like it is important to volunteer at Craig Hospital. I meet with new patients and talk with them about how to continue their lives with SCI. I work really hard at getting them back out in the world and doing the activities that they did before their injury.
I have participated in a lot of activities. Here are a few that I do regularly... Handcycling, mountain biking, tennis, rugby. I have scuba dived, sled hockey, softball, football, basketball, downhill biking, ballooned, etc.
Project #4
I am trying to teach myself telepathy so that I can levatate myself making the use of a wheelchair obsolete. This project may take a while to accomplish but so far I have been making great process in moving objects. I can hold an object in the air and move it very quickly to the ground.
