About Me

What better place to start to build a community online for the disabled, friends and family. We want this portal to the web to be a positive one, a helpful one and one to which be proud of. Thank you for taking part and showing your interest by lending us your friendship and support.
This space is meant for people of all walks of life to visit, learn, teach or suggest perhaps how to get through the day to what works best for certain individuals with a specific disability. That visit may help multiple people with just a suggestion of a book to read, a company to contact or just someone to speak with.
Many people through history have claimed that one person can change the world. Just look what an actor who once played a comic book hero brought to the world of disability. He rallied people to speak up, speak out and move forward. At that point in time Superman became real and tried to help heal the world through research, outreach and speaking to the masses.
We want out forums to be run by friends like you, to make suggestions, talk with someone who maybe is in a funk, new to injury and looking for a safe place to open up and tell their story and maybe hear yours.
As the numbers of the disabled grow by leaps and bounds in the next 14 years, the world will have to change simply because of the numbers. Let’s turn up the volume, let our voices be heard and the message felt. After all there is power in numbers. The number of disabled people will be the highest ever to live in a nation at one time in the history of mankind, ever! That makes for a very interesting next 14 years, where all of our voices and opinions will be heard louder and louder as time goes on.
Team GTA is here to help change the world one place at a time. So let us hear your voice and opinion whether that be sign language, a wheelchair interface, email, pictures, artwork or music. However you communicate we would love to hear from you and become one of the friends of Team GTA
