Shock and Awe

I am brown liquor...on the rocks.

About Me

Always in the mood for - Shiny things, Dutch chocolate, the politically incorect and a tight corset. Loathe- rude and insensitive people. Love-loyal friends even when they drunken dial me. I was born and raised in Philadelphia. I love to travel but I also love coming home to Philly. My goal is to be a cliché and move to The South of France where I will perform in small cabarets. Then move to Tuscany where I will tour the trails on my motorcycle by day and by night I will write my long awaited novel.I look forward to meeting good people with whom I can be active and still find time to review our last best book, artist and or film.

My Interests

Words, song, and creating. Vintage motorcycles and cars, history, mythology, photography, documentaries, fixing things, funny noses and beautiful eyes, Hugs from the back while I am cooking, new ice cream flavors, languages, traveling, hidden treasures (including finding things that I thought were lost... in my pockets), crazy Japanese movies, full smiles and even bigger laughter.

I'd like to meet:

Fun, beautiful, not so smart people. Sometimes brains just get in the way of all the debauchery.

Music:

Every type of music that speaks from the heart. Nina Simone, Bessie Smith, Coal Porter, "Billy" and "Ella" -both solo and big band accompanied. Frank Sanatra, Miles Davis and Judy Garland.Current musicians include Scissor Sisters, Fanni Pack, Citizen Cope, Missy Elliot, Mary J., Jeff Buckley,Dolly Parton, Ben Harper(all) and so on and so on. I love old school Disco and Rap too.Honestly I like it all if it's good.

Movies:

The Last Unicorn, What dreams may come(Best everrrr) and F-ck Amal in English they retitled it Show me love. Classic movies English and other wise. French, Spanish and Italian and some German films float my boat too. Jean Cocteau director of Le bel Indifferent (1940). Ma Vie en Rose- is one of my favorite French films. But my weakness is a really good Horror movie. 70's love stories also get to me. But the best of the best are Family movies of friends and lovers as children.

Television:

That 70's Show, WONDER YEARS and Different Stokes re-runs. Law and Order-all of them but the old episodes and SVU are the best. Smallville, Desp. Housewives and The L Word.

Camel Toe

Why is it that so many women in philly sport camel toes and so many men spit? I think philly can do with out the artistic input of the camel and the men that imitate them.
