About Me

Introverted one moment, extroverted the next. I tend to huddle like a mad man for mad poems, mad stories, mad dialogue and then more. I talk a lot, and not always the most interesting thing; sometimes, I'd prefer to discuss nothing to the obligatory wow talk. I know you think, you know I do; we don't have to prove it to each other all the time.%D%A

My Interests

Discretion and unflinching candor; knowing what I know, and you know. And maintaining that human necessity: secrets of the radiant heart. Reading books and magazines, writing movie scripts/plays/fictions/poems and articles, when they pay; listening to music because its the one thing that defies money.

I'd like to meet:

Someone interested in interesting things, who doesn't necessarily feel that, that description begins and ends with them.

Music:

I've been called everything from

Movies:

Ask me in person for an up to the minute list. Anything Allen, Coppola, Scorcese and Kurosawa top the list perennially.

Television:

...sucks, to be truthful. I like old shows you can gorge on like they were movie marathons.

Books:

There are so many. Somtimes a Great Notion (which my neighbor has immortalized on his front steps) The Sound and the Fury, The Adventures of Cavalier and Clay, The Enormous Room, East of Eden, Leaves of Grass and The Flounder, by Gunter Grass are four books off the top of my head.

Heroes:

...is a word too often used to describe ordinary people. I'd love lunch with Bob Dylan, and dinner with Henry David Thoreau, but who knows if they're heroes or not.

My Blog

Correcting An Oversight
