DEMIA in its essence is a combination of the dark and the beautiful, the demonic and the divine elements of music released with a violent passion and a binding need to communicate that raw energy unto the world. This Amsterdam based band is an ensemble of international musicians who have made their presence felt for quite some time in the underground metal scene with their brutally energetic and critically acclaimed live performances. Formally known as ‘Cancelled’, in the first half of the new millennium they changed it to DEMIA to usher in the year of the dog, and to celebrate evolving and advancing to new levels with the completion of their first full-length and Scarlet Records debut-album Insidious.
