About Me

Photography is one of my main passions, and I certainly don't indulge myself in it often enough at present.

To see my work, please visit either www.myspace.com/I_Spill_Green or WWW.RACHELWATSON.MOONFRUIT.COM.
If anyone wishes to offer themselves as willing photographic subject matter, then please get in contact. Fresh blood (photographically speaking of course!) is in short supply where I live and I really do genuinely need open minded volunteers, willing to let me point my camera at them.

Music is another great love of mine. While I can't play any instruments to any significant talent, I listen to A LOT of it! I am quite particular in my tastes and won't listen to any old crap. There is no Robbie Williams or such like in my collection. I have quite an eccletic ear and wouldn't really rule any genre out - so long as it's good and has a bit of blood and guts in it.
And while I'm on the subject - whatever happened to bands etc writing their own songs and playing instruments?! I shudder and cringe at most of the cloned generic manufactered musical offerings todays generation is force fed and has inflicted upon them.

My Interests

Where to start on this one!?
Main interests would be photography photography and more photography - all day long! (myspace.com/I_Spill_Green.
Music (of the decent persuasion - preferably LOUD); People - particularly what makes them tick; Belly Dance; World Cinema; Film; Art; Literature; Veganism; The World; Travel; Self Discovery; Asking Questions; Eating; Drinking; Breathing; Being clumsy.

I'd like to meet:

Eddie Vedder; Mike Patton; Chris Cornell and Belladonna (all for obvious and shallow reasons) for starters, failing that saints, sinners and lottery winners - all are welcome! People who are creative, interesting, preferably who give a shit with a sense of humour! Is that asking too much?!

Below is a video that I was SHOCKED DISTURBED and SICKENED to watch. I can honestly say that it made me so so so so sad to see how animals are treated. I do think EVERYONE should see this video, to become more aware of what really goes on; where exactly the meat they eat comes from and the conditions and treatment the animals are subjected to. I stopped eating meat a while ago, and this has re-enforced my reasoning behind it. If you ever want to eat meat again or are easily shocked/upset/offended then I really wouldn't advise pressing play. However, ignorance is not bliss.

Music:

In no particular order.......Theory; Sage Francis; Aesop Rock; Cash Crew; Son Of Noise; Gunshot; Overlord X; London Posse and all that other old school UK Hip-Hop good stuff; El-P; Atmosphere (mainly the older stuff, before Slug fell off); Dynospectrum; Odd Jobs; Da King and I; Black Sheep; De La Soul; Amon Tobin; Portishead; Handsome Boy Modelling School; Lovage; Mike Patton; Pearl Jam; Nine Inch Nails; Johnny Cash; Iron and Wine; Saul Williams; Big Daddy Kane; Busdriver; Dj Shadow; Tom Waits; Alice Russell; Bonobo; TM Juke; Quantic; Pete Rock and C L Smooth; Patti Smith; Peeping Tom; Led Zeppelin; Son House; 16 Horsepower; The Black Keys; Jose Gonzales; Mavis Staples; Black Sabbath; David Bowie; Nick Cave; The Beatles; Hendrix; PJ Harvey; Joanna Newsom; Glenn Campbell; Braintax; Task Force; Pharcyde; Main Source; Erykah Badu; Billie Holliday; Audioslave; Rage Against The Machine; Radiohead; Hex; Low; Peaches; Zero 7; Dj Krush; Low Profile; Tori Amos; Fiona Apple; Mr Dibbs; QBert; Edan; Gravenhurst; Gravediggaz; A Perfect Circle; Blueprint; Geto Boys; Demon Boyz; Soul Position; Kool Keith/Dr Octagon; Bill Withers; Sound Garden; Dark Captain; Diamond D; UMCs; J-Live; J-Zone; Masta Ace; Black Moon; J5; KAM; Lord Finesse; Hieroglyphics; Sly and the Family Stone; Buck 65; Leonard Cohen; Tomahawk; Awol One; Bjork; The Cinematic Orchestra; Cut Chemist; Frank Zappa; Nick Drake; …….Too much, too many can’t go on.
