I am differently-abled due to Charcot-Marie-Tooth Syndrome. I have an adult on-set version of this hereditary sensory motor neuropathy.
In my previous life, I was an Athletic Trainer and a Fitness Specialist at a large metropolitan fitness facility. In addition to being the supervisor of the evening shift, my responsibilities included fitness testing, monitoring of the cardiovascular fitness center, strength and conditioning coaching, and personal training.
During my vocational rehabilitation, I rediscovered my artistic talents for photography, painting and drawing, and graphic design. I have since gone more and more digital in those and other pursuits.
I advocate Green, Wired, and Universal design. Especially Universal Design, it is usually very simple and very cost effective to make most things useable to everyone. Not to incorporated Universal Design in space planning and industrial design is thoughtless ignorance at best and vindictive stupidity at worst.
Architects, Developers, and Builders should take note: For all their documented education and/or self-proclaimed experience, they all usually fail miserably when it comes to accessibility and they usually blame it on the almighty dollar. It is not a "luxury item" to be able to open and go through your own front door - DESIGN LIKE YOU GIVE A DAMN!
Stop Corporate Internet Command and Control
Whether you are a webmaster or a casual blogger, please, join the Save the Internet Campaign! Do not let some corporate puppet decide how you are going to use your Internet access, that YOU actually pay for, directly and indirectly, (not them). How about some corporate flunky telling you what search engines you had to use or whether your webpage is worthy of being accessed? Who do they think they are ... China? Of course, your webpage would be "worthy" enough, if you paid enough for it to be worthy - so much for Free Speech and Free Enterprise.

Justice: A concept involving the system of consequences which are naturally derived from any action or choice. Justice, in some form or another, affects all things in the universe. In the context of human actions, this means what individuals or groups actually deserve or merit, or are in some sense entitled to, according to their actions.

Utilitarianism: A theory of ethics that prescribes the quantitative maximization of good consequences for a population - "the greatest good of the greatest number". It is a form of consequentialism. For this reason, utilitarianism is often associated with the term welfarist consequentialism. It can be an effective way of defeating prejudices and selfishness.
Nihilism: A philosophical position which argues that the world and human existence is without objective meaning, purpose, comprehensible truth, or essential value. Your purpose in life is to build your vision. Even though you are artistic, you are also practical and responsible. You work hard, knowing that there are no shortcuts in life. You work for a better life for yourself and for those you love. Trustworthy and honest, you also demonstrate great courage. People can count on you. In love, you are a loyal and committed partner. You are the ideal spouse. You do not give up easily and have trouble knowing when to quit. Sometimes you can be too stubborn and unwilling to make changes, being too conservative at times, which means that you can miss out on good opportunities. In addition, remember that not everyone can be as passionate as you are or work as hard as you do, as disappointing as that is to you. It is best not to be too idealistic about others.
What is your Life Path Number?
You Are The Individualist
As a "4", you are sensitive and intuitive, with others and yourself. You are creative and dreamy plus dramatic and unpredictable. You are emotionally honest, real, and easily hurt. Totally expressive, others always know exactly how you feel.
What Number are you?
Your Beauty Hides In Your Individuality
You are different from everyone else and everyone else knows it but they do not necessarily know why. The worst part of this is that everyone refuses to stop trying to change you. You do not know whether to just be yourself or put on some fake act or social mask just to get people off your back. While it is always best to be honest, you may be resentful that people are always trying to change your ways instead of improving their own ways. Do not let anything change you because in this world there is only one of you. Meanwhile, there are millions of people trying to portray themselves as something else just to keep everyone else happy.

Current Moon Phase
I would like the find equilibrium in my life: The balance of the elements - Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. The balance of being - Mind, Body, and Spirit. The balance of forces - Smooth out the gradients between Light to Dark, Hot to Cold, Positive to Negative, and Good to Evil.

Not only do things need to be equalized but the true nature of things needs to be revealed, as well. Right now, there is far too much heat and far too much darkness. There is great evil masquerading as great good and, also, far too many people pretending that what is right and true is wrong and false (and visa versa). Their self-deception is so complete that they have lost the ability to reason. This traps us all in a collective nightmare and I fear that no one will be able to awaken from it in time.

The Phases of the Moon

I have a fair amount of background in biology and related sciences, too. I eat red meat, drink beer, and even watch NASCAR from time to time. I guess you could call me a hi-tech, red-neck.

I do photography (black-and-white and color) and graphic design in tradition and digital media. I also do painting and drawing in traditional and digital media, sculpture (I would kill for a rapid proto-typer - voxels rather than pixels), ceramics, and creating audio and video pieces.

In my previous lifetime (before being physically disabled), I was a strength coach and athletic trainer. I worked as a Fitness Specialist at a large metropolitan athletic club doing fitness evaluations, personal training, etc. Before that I worked as a trainer at a smaller fitness facility. I also had extensive experience as a lifeguard and pool operator and had a knack for keeping even the most temperamental aquatic facilities functioning smoothly. I used to teach swimming and diving as a Water Safety Instructor.

Oh well, you have to roll with the punches.

Pagan / Occultist

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law. Spending your entire life searching various forms of philosophy and religion, you choose to observe everything and believe little. Your personality is one of truth seeking, nature respecting, and god/goddess accepting. Lastly, you do not judge anyone. However, if annoyed, then you will exact some form of revenge. You do not believe in the Three-Fold Law.

What religion best suits you?

You Are A Celtic Pantheonic Pagan
Your answers leaned very close to that of the Celtic Pantheon. Very popular now among pagans, the Celtic Gods seem to draw those who are sensitive and insightful but also those who are very passionate about their beliefs. Many Pagan Holidays are named for this pantheon. Here is where you will find many stories of the Horned God, of the Green Man, and of the Druids. You most likely either have been to or very much want to visit Stonehenge one day. Many Arthurian legends include references to the Celtic faith, as well.

What kind of Pagan are you?

You Are Most Like Cernunnos
Cernunnos is the Stag of Seven Tines and the Winter Lord. The personification of Cernunnos is as a mature man, in his prime, with long curling dark hair, a full beard, and antlers. Usually naked and wearing nothing but a torque, he sits in a shamanistic, meditative position holding either a spear and shield or a ram-horned serpent. A cauldron and/or a bag of gold are always near him, with a stag or dog by his side. Cernunnos is the one who is both hunter and hunted. The wild boar and the stag are sacred to him.

Known to all Celtic areas in one form or another, he is The Horned God, the God of Nature and Fertility, the God of the Underworld and of the Astral Plane, the Great Father, and many others. He is associated with good fortune and health in commerce, the hunt, and life in general. His original Celtic name is lost; Cernunnos is a Roman name meaning, "horned one". He might be associated with the early Celtic "Man in the Tree", Derg Corra, which would explain his connection to the "Green Man". The Druids knew him as Hu Gadarn, The Horned God of Fertility. The Norse knew him as Freyr (Fro Ingwe) the God of Fertility and Success. He could have originated from the ancient Indo-European common pantheon, which the Slavic peoples still embrace to some extent. Weles or Volos, the Horned God, rules all horned animals, wealth, commerce, and the underworld. Weles is also the patron of poets and bards. Much later, he became associated with "Herne the Hunter", who can be traced to an actual historical figure.

Which Celtic Tree are you?

You Are Most Like Vidar
Vidar is the son of Odin and the giantess Grid (Gridr). He is the God of Silence and Revenge. Vidar may mean, "the Wide-Ruling One". He is also known as Vidar the Valiant and Vidar the Redeemer. He the second strongest of the gods; his twin brother, Vali, who was born expressly to be a slayer of gods, is the strongest. Both of them will survive Ragnarok, the destruction of the world, with about a half a dozen other gods, and rule in the new world when it is recreated. His hall in Asgard is Vidi.

It is during Ragnarok that Odin is killed by the wolf Fenrir. Vidar avenges his father by killing the wolf with his bare hands. He presses one foot on Fenrir's bottom jaw and takes hold of his other jaw to tear the wolf apart.

Vidar is the companion of Balder the Glorious, the God of Light and War or Battle, and, later after Balder's death (who will be reborn after Ragnarok), Vidar becomes the companion of Forsete, Balder's son and God of Justice and Conciliation. Vidar has also been associated with practical wisdom and the hunt. He is the patron of leatherworkers. The wrestling forms known as "Glima", in Iceland, and "Ryggtak", in Norway, are dedicated to him.

You are most like the Greek goddess of dark magic. Mysterious and intellectual, you have a good understanding of the world around you. Interesting, fun, and generally quite friendly, you are a good person to have as a friend.

You Are A Spiritualist
Your magic flows from the primal forces of the cosmos. You could be a gentle Healer, a miraculous Prophet, or a spirit-summoning War-mage with the strong link your soul provides to the realms beyond reality. You have preternatural abilities, intuitively sensing the personality of people you meet and discerning events yet to happen. You enhance your aura with meditative pursuits. Which Magical Order are you in?

You Are The Mentor
You are akin to Gandalf (Lord of The Rings), Merlin (Arthurian Legend), Obi Wan Kenobi (Star Wars), Aslan (Narnia), Door (Neverwhere), Dumbledore (Harry Potter), and Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander (Wizard's First Rule). Only you know the true motives and past of The Villain, so it is up to you to teach the Unlikely Hero all he has to know but be careful, as you will invariably regret not telling The Unlikely Hero things sooner rather than later. You like teaching and often care very much for others.

People See You As Truly Dark
Congratulations, you are Dark by nature and not just a poser. Dark people are not always loners but they are definitely not the centers of attention either. Many people that are Dark are like the shadows and can conform into any shape they need to be. However, the Dark cannot be hidden forever. It is often only a matter of time until you tire of the charade and show your Darkness. That is why those of the Dark tend to remain solitary. Being Dark does not make you any more gloomy than winter is; you are, most probably, just artistic, whether it be in drawing, music, painting, or singing. If you can find a friend who shares your twisted ideals or is willing to brave the iciness of your world, then hang on to them, for how rare it is to find a light in the Dark.

To these people, there can be no light without some darkness. These people also have no dedication to or intrinsic distrust of laws.

How sinful are you?

You Are A Champion Of The People
You defend the oppressed, represent the voiceless, and fight for the powerless. You like to shake things up and get a special pleasure from defying authority. You care more about society's battles than about personal ones. You can be very political and are very likely well-educated but be careful that you do not become a tyrant yourself.

What type of Hero would you be?

You Are Best Described As A Socialist

However politically and economically, you are more correctly described as a Social Moderate (55% permissive) and as an Economic Liberal (10% permissive). You exhibit a very well-developed sense of Right and Wrong and believe in economic fairness.

The Politics Test

You Scored As A Socialist
I do not know about you but when corporations (e.g.; Enron, Home Depot, etc.) start shitting on their own shareholders (the ones that have actual voting stock; as opposed to worthless crap that they let the average schmoes and mutual funds have) it is time to stop doing things the "corporate way". What good does shitting on the hand that feeds you do, regardless of how greedy you are?

Both the Capitalistic and Marxist models of economics are flawed and toxic; we should be using the biological model of economics, instead. The same rules that govern population mechanics within a given environment also govern social systems, like economics, within their environments. For example, it does not make sense for an extremely small, self-serving, self-important minority to control the vast majority of wealth in a given country, or the world for that matter. This type of over-specialization is a prelude to extinction, economically.

Control of the wealth must be diversified and spread over a wider segment of the population (Yes, that means spreading the wealth, you tight-fisted bastards and not by resorting to piss-on-you economics, again). Considering that most big money is acquired either through inheritance or through illegal or immoral means, technically, it is not “their” money anyway. Essentially, all wealth is acquired through exploitation and deception, which makes the majority of rich people (such as Trump, Forbes, Bush, etc.) parasites that feed on the blood, sweat, tears, well-being, and health of the people (such as servants, peasants, employees, other "liabilities").

This way, if something happens to the self-serving, self-important minority (the upper crust or crud, if you prefer), then the rest of us will survive extremely well without them. A self-evident truth I am sure they do not what the general public to realize. Remember, it is not always cream that rises to the top; pond scum does, too.

Music:

I am pretty flexible. I like variety but also like pieces that are well composed, well arranged, and well matched to the artist performing the piece. It would be nice if they had some sense of music, of multi-part harmony, and of performance. It would also be nice if the performer knew how to use a microphone. I do not particularly like music that mongers hate and fear.

These are some artists whose works I generally like. This list is by no means a comprehensive list -
