About 10 years ago, my life changed. At that time, I didn't know it, but, it did. I saw Vicious V dj for the first time. He was doing a block party "ova east." That was the first time that I can remember seeing a live dj, rock a crowd like that (to all of you that thought that he was just a trouble maker, or a battle dj, remember, he used to dj with Boobie on V103 back in the day). It created a bond between him and I, whereas, he took me to parties to have fun, and experience a little bit of the nightlife(just a little because back then I still had a curfew). That led me to going out to spots like Hammerjacks and hearing hosts like Buckshot (yall may know him as Buck Jones), Pork Chop, and many others. It made me want to entertain a crowd like that. It made me want to be able to control the crowd and do what an MC does (for those of you who don't know, MC means move the crowd). One day, I grabbed the mic, and it felt very natural. I remember the first time, I hosted a house party on Montford Ave for DJ Black. It was crazy, only $1 to get in, and it was hot as shit in there (lol). But one thing I can remember is the crowd reaction. They actually partied. I did that a few more times, and before you know it, I met DJ 5Starr, who helped me perfect my craft. He taught me timing, and patience on the mic, two things that ALL MC'S NEED!!! Then I met DJ Spontaneous, and found that our chemistry was good, but could be better. Two years later, we're two of the best in the game, and our chemistry is great. I've learned to host for all DJ's, all events.
