The reason that the company was established is a pretty funny story. One day in August of last year, I brought a pair of exclusive-colored tennis, but I could not find an outfit to match them at first. When I finally did find something thing to go with them, I didnt want it because I had saw 10 other people with the outfit. I was so frustrated,I told Cheeze that we were going to make our own clothing line. At first, we were just joking, but then we decided to go ahead and do make an out fit for us. Yet, when we wore it from the first day, the streets went crazy.
From that point on, business went soaring up faster than we could ever believe. From there on, we knew we had something special. We would take our ideas and orders down to the "Paradox" nightclub to test them out, and the response was overwhelming. With the help of the "151 Boyz" wearing our shirts almost every Friday (along with various other people from different areas of town), B E-Z became a very well known name. But during the winter months, demand was higher than supply, and sales went down do to improper money management skills.
As of January 1st, 2006, Cheeze and I made a promise to put B E-Z back on the map stronger than even the first time. It was a deal that would be kept, and completed. In February, I turned 21, and cheeze turned 23, making us one of the youngest set of african-american males to partnership and own a small business in Baltimore, Md. After a lot of re-vamping, in April 2006, we officially became an incorporation, and began to set Baltimore "on fire" with a combination of new and old designs. We started to add both females (Allstars), and male (Blockstarz) models, street teams with there own chain of infrastructure such as G.F.C. (Get Fresh Crew), R.O.D. (Ride or Die), M.I.S.S.E.S. (Mature Intellectual Sexy Sophisticated Educated Sisters), and Vixen Entertainment Group (Promotional models), and a lot more.
With the direction that the company is now pointed in now, there is no one that can stop us from reaching our goals. We are now sponsors to many people and business around Baltimore such as Phatman Entertainment Group, which is a local Baltimore based record company. The list of affiliates, and sponsorships seems to grow everyday, and so does the company thanks to the help and support of all the loyal customers and affiliates.
