I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4M.E.Ch.A is a group of students who cares about our people and who will not be silent when it comes to the rights of their fellow students and their communities. M.E.Ch.A are students who believe in themselves and realize that no one is going to help them or their community but themselves. M.E.Ch.A are students who fight for the right to have more Raza attend high school by adding in the development and furtherment of programs such as Affirmative Action, Educational Opportunity Program, and Chicano Studies Departments. As M.E.Ch.A we try to work together to establish some unity and a sense of Carnalismo between all indigenous people. We also try to emphasize the importance of community activism and promote awareness of our indigenous background
