As this profile maily deals with the musical aspect of my life, ill treat it as so.I’ve been DJing at and running events since around the year 1999.It all started when we learnt how to mix when still at school around the age of 14 with Dave Discord, listening to a lot of old school such as Ratty and Carl Cox and the obligatory Prodigy. Things moved on and started to dabble into techno, which led us to hard techno and hardcore techno. We started going to North in Stoke, and Atomic Jam at the Que Club in Birmingham on a monthly basis. Got the bug, and started throwing all of my money at records and practicing every waking hour on my decks.After a while, (and at the age of 16) we entered the Dogs Bollox DJ competition at North which was than at the Void in Hanley, and surprised ourselves by actually getting chosen to play.Playing here led on to other things, many more bookings and progression. I stopped playing so much techno and moved on to hardcore techno/gabber.I got involved in promotion, and ran a successful event called Oblivion. This was mainly based in Leicester, but we did many tours and promotional nights across the country.Nowadays, the main styles that I incorporate (depending on the event of course) into my DJ sets are Hardcore Techno/Gabber/Hard Drum and Bass/Breakcore/Speedcore/Noise/Electronica.
