About Me

The Somerville Theatre is a moviehouse and live event space in Davis Square, Somerville. There are five cinemas, one of which is our original 900 seat vaudeville style classic theatre with a full stage and balcony.
Film tickets
BEFORE 6pm: Adults $5 Monday-Friday, $7 Sat, Sun & Holidays
AFTER 6PM: Adults $7 Monday-Thurs, $8 Friday-Sunday & Holidays
Seniors 62 & over $5.00 any time
We are a Ticketmaster location, but only for events occurring at our theatre. Please note also that we are a CASH ONLY event box office and only accept credit cards (Mastercard & Visa) for movie tickets and concessions.
We serve fresh popcorn with REAL butter (if you want it).
We now serve Harpoon beer, and a small selection of white and red wine. You may purchase this tasty adult beverage and take it to your seat if you are 21+ and have a Valid ID or US passport.
Right now we have Harpoon IPA, UFO and Brown. We also have Harpoon Hard Cider. Enjoy responsibly. As always, we encourage use of public transportation.

Heroes:

Our heroes are the theaters out there trying to be special and care about presentation. In our neck of the woods, that would be the Brattle, Coolidge, Kendall, and Embassy. All have professional staffs, good projectionists, and care about keeping the movie-going experience special.
