ROCK ON!

About Me

Growing up in Southeastern Mass I have always had a passion for music and live events. Hard to say exactly where it all came from. But my true earliest memories are listening to Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and the Magical Mystery Tour on headphones and other various random 8-tracks like CCR in my living room that were lying around circa 1982, in-between playing Atari. Fast-forwarding a bit; upon graduating from a robust “state” college with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and music minor. I ended up moving back to my hometown for nine months. Looking for some direction I enrolled at Ai-The New England Institute of Art (formerly know as Massachusetts Communications College) and moved to Boston where I received my degree in Recording Arts: Audio Production and honed my skills in music management. During my initial stint in college I had my first taste of really working behind the scenes at the Juliana Hatfield, The Verve Pipe, and Angry Salad show. It taught me a lot of what it really takes to put on a production and I got to see how everything came together in the end.
Amid my college days and to-date I have worked at some great prominent institutions. Some of them include Harvard University, World Music Inc., Tweeter Center for the Performing Arts, 95.1FM WXTK Boch Broadcasting, 101.7FM WFNX Radio Network, First Night Boston, Ashmont Records, South Shore Music Circus, Cape Cod Melody Tent, Clear Channel / Live Nation, the Paradise Rock Club, the Avalon Ballroom, and I have also probably worked at almost every other venue in Boston somehow, someway, or another while coming up on almost seven years in the ticketing business.
Currently I am the manager of the eclectic pop-rock band Infinite Frequency from Boston, MA. Infinite Frequency released their debut record What If… in May 2006 and have had many successes over the past year. Infinite Frequency most recently won the Boston Regional Global Battle of the Bands last November and went to Los Angeles for the National Finals and Infinite Frequency performed at the Key Club in Hollywood, CA. In the midst of many triumphs the debut CD What If... additionally had a very accomplished radio campaign and the CD What IF... was added to over 150 plus radio stations. Infinite Frequency is also now featured on MTV2's website for Boston's Ultimate Music Scene. Since performing over fifty-plus dates the past year to support the album and launching their website in May 2006 Infinite Frequency has had immense growth throughout the Internet while gaining and mounting a worldwide following. What If… is now being distributed in the Philippines, Manila.
During my time spent working with Infinite Frequency I have created my own company SLYROX MUSIC®. The Mission of SLYROX MUSIC is to help promote interest in and further create auxiliary exploitation of music and the arts and create awareness of their importance in society for artists as well as their audience and respective patrons. To accomplish this SLYROX MUSIC and related associates will remain dedicated to attract and widen interest and knowledge though opportunities, activities, and events through their relevant communities. SLYROX MUSIC is a company that is an enthusiast of music, music products, and music promotion.
I am still working on finalizing some things and have some projects underway to hopefully be released through SLYROX MUSIC in the next few months. So please do stop by and check back again soon.
