About Me

Nick Kruge is a singer/songwriter and producer/engineer in Miami who, according to a panel of industry professionals, should not be in Miami. Recently, he has teamed up with Miami's finest duo, John Hancock and B-Rob E Robertson of the Awesome New Republic duo to form the newest incarnation of the Awesome New Republic . He also spends a lot of his time with his band van gloria , and they will be coming out with a new EP soon, although they are currently on hiatus. Recent finished projects include producing a new EP with Like the TV Show and Bridget Pross . You can buy nick's debut album "Lullabies for Strangers" from CD Baby or nickkruge.com .
All current projects--engineering and production for: Sir Majesty , Raffa and Rainer , The Honor Roll , and Jesse Jackson .
Lullabies for Strangers was written, engineered, and produced by Nick when he was 19 and 20 and released in 2006 as part of his senior recital at the University of Miami, where he recently graduated from the Music Engineering program. Now 23, he plans to realease a new solo album of classically influenced folk, primarily featuring classical guitar, piano, and string arrangements by renowned arranger/composer Patrick Hart . At the same time, Nick is also working on a companion solo album of organic electro/acoustic pop, heavily influenced by Beck's "Sea Change," Bjork's "Vespertine" and everything by Nick Drake. As always with Nick's work, each is a very slow and meticulous process and no release date has been set for either album.
