vic kingsley is an independent Alternative Rock band based out of South Florida. Currently touring and supporting their first full-length independent release These Frequencies, which received rave reviews such as “Vic Kingsley’s new album is nearly flawless – thealbumproject.net” and “I might like one or two songs from an album but very infrequently is the entire album worth listening to. The band formed in late 2007 and in the span of one year have landed endorsements with famed Gibson Guitars & Dickies Clothing, won ourstage.com’s Best Alt. Rock for August ’08, performed at South By Southwest Music Festival ’08, Florida Music Fest ’08, Sunfest ‘08 & Earthdance ‘08, showcased in NYC & Nashville, TN thanks to their affiliation with BMI, opened for artists such as: John Legend, Matisyahu, Hellogoodbye, The Ballas Hough Band, Push Play & The Blue Man Group.
With an amalgam of styles including Rock, Pop, Country and folk, the band is creating a very unique sound. it's a very moody kind of music with heartfelt lyrics and delivery. There's something for every music lover. The Band comprises of talented songwriters, musicians and producers: Ethan Carlson, Jonathan Draper, Jorge Balbi & Vic Garcia, who met at the university of miami and have since been working together.
