About Me

Luis Hurtado is a shifty-eyed, itinerant drifter. Hurtado understands the ever-growing need to have a MySpace page, and reluctantly agrees to the demands of the unwashed masses. Hurtado enjoys the pleasures of animation, politics, philosophy, theology & all things dork. In his spare time, he enjoys writing about himself in the 3rd person. In Reality: I'm a self-taught artist / animator, working in the entertainment industry. I don't have much time to meet new people outside of work.I enjoy staying active outside of work, Gym, Hiking, Yoga & Cycling.I'm a member of LACMA & frequent art openings. I love having philosophical / existential conversations over a cup of coffee or tea.I love working on creative / artsy side-projects with my friends.I love music, I secretly wish I could have an mp3 player surgically attached to my ear canal. That would be awesome.I jump in feet first into everything I do, it's both a boon and a curse.I love to learn but I have little patience for classroom environments and standardized tests.I love short answer questions because I can bullshit my way through. My mom is my best friend. She says I'm 25 going on 50.My awesome level goes to 11.I believe the Republicans & the Democrats ultimately play for the same team.
I'll probably be put in some terrorist database for having said that.I watch FoxNews because I think it's fucking hilarious.I have a fascination with cute robots.I was raised Catholic, but I've come to my own logical spiritual outlook.

No Broken Bones!

"No broken bones!" Is the phrase I keep repeating to myself as I pop up from the asphalt as if I'm rooting for "No Wammys!" on that 80s game show, rotating limbs to check for anything broken or hurt.I...
