I've been told that I can keep a good beat... for a girl. I should be OK since I've been playing drums for half my life. My life started in San Luis Obispo, CA. At 7, my parents parted ways and my mother moved my 13 year old brother and I to MT. My brother couldn't hang (no baseball) so he moved back with my father shortly thereafter. I would spend every summer there untill I was 16. I started hating school in 3rd grade. It might have been cursive writing or really discusting lunch ladies. I later found a little love for school when I joined the band geeks in 7th grade. I really wanted to play the drums but the requirements for percussion was 2 years of piano. None taken. Luckily, my teacher was pretty cool and Ennis was a little lack in students because she taught me a few scales and I "had piano experience." After 6 months of auxillary percussion(hand cymbals, wood block, sleigh bells, timpani, marimbas, bongos, shakers, marching bass drum, triangle, etc.) I learned me some trap. My life was forever changed. I didn't want to do anything else. Band was the only class I made sure I went to. I rocked the Ennis Pep-Band circut for 6.5 years. Go Stangs. Following a postponed graduation, I moved to CA for about six weeks and failed 2 employment drug tests. Cool Trace, real cool. With my head swung low, I came home and moved in with my then future lead singer. He was starting a new band with his brother on drums and some little punk I went to school/partied with on bass. Love ya Peaches. They knew I played but they didn't know if I could "play". Well, I played. The rest is history. We've rocked roughly 500 shows as JC auto and still counting. I don't know if I am a full-blown rockstar, but I hope I'm on my way to becoming one. I love my band;present members and non-present members, my wives; Tallula,Chancho and Ahkeemuh, my friends, my family and last but not least, Avril. Like, I really, really love her.
