Destrie Boyar AKA DestroDamus is a New York native who moved to Los Angeles five years ago with a vision & the drive to become an adult movie director. He was armed with experience in filming racecars and some amateur sex but more importantly a lot of ideas.Destrie had always dreamed of Hollywood beginning with a childhood friend who now lived there and shared his stories of celebrities, parties, and opportunity. It didn’t take long until he got his foot was in the door at InterAvid Productions, a small company that produced lines for Pink Visual including MilfSeekers, TeensForCash, BackSeatBangers , Bang Boat, GangBangSquad, HerFirstBigCock, HerFirstLesbianSex, HerFirst D.P., and more. When Destrie first interviewed with the owner, Andrew Stoddard, he was told all positions were filled. But the owner had a change of heart and because of his obvious determination and his experience in both still photography and cinematography he was hired on the spot and thrown into the mix. Destrie became a personal assistant for over 4 months and moved on to become the head photographer. Soon after proving his skill he began shooting Camera B for each sex scene. The company later realized that Camera B was unnecessary and eliminated it. This worked in Destrie’s favor however and led to his first scenes as director of BackSeatBangers, a spin off of the very famous BangBro’s “Bang Bus”. He then took on the role as director of “MilfSeekers” and “HerFirstLesbianSex”. One of his first shoots for “HerFirstLesbianSex” featured Monique Alexander and exposed him to the art of girl/girl. This line proved to be an important factor as it was a new aspect of the game and he knew that if he could focus while filming two hot girls having sex, he accomplish anything!Another important line was “GangBangSquad”, and taught him how to handle five or more people having sex. He quickly learned the importance of keeping all the action in frame while everyone was interacting. He also learned how to handle girls who might become intimated at the last moment, and in a sense to become a social worker of sorts and “save a scene” by talking a girl through the details of the shoot.After a year and a half of shooting Pink Visual content, InterAvid opened Hush Hush ENT. Their first line was “ My Daughter/Mother is fucking Blackzilla” conceived by Shane Diesel who Destro worked very closely with for the last 3 years. Sharing directing credit with Jonalungus, “Blackzilla” became very successful and won an AVN award for “Best Interracial Series”. Soon after, Hush Hush signed more male contract stars such as Richard Mann (“Manaconda”) and BOZ (“Daddy’s Worst Nightmare”) and launched new sites and more DVD releases distributed by New Sensations, flooding the market with the best interracial content. Destrie and Jonalungus also started to work on other lines such as “Freaky First Timers” which showcased girls who wanted to break into the industry and had to do something freaky! The first scene Destrie shot featured Memphis Monroe’s first shoot (former Hustler contract star) as well as Sasha Grey’s second scene.They then went on to develop “BubbleButtBonanza” which Destrie really put a lot of heart into. The idea began when Andrew Stoddard noticed that Destrie had an eye for maximizing a girl’s assets with camera angles and “BubbleButtBonanza” was born. He began shooting scenes and the site was launched and is now on Volume 10 and distributed through New Sensations. Destrie shot big butt sensations such as Olivia O’Lovely and Julia Bond and many others in between. He says his worst experiences were when he’d book a girl based on a picture from her agent’s site only to have her arrive a completely different girl and have to turn them away.Destrie was also responsible for producing such sites as “FratHouseFuckFest” which involved a staged college party with wild sex ensuing. It had to maintain a feel of real amateur filming, never becoming too over-directed and capturing everyone’s true personality. “MonsterCockFuckFest” followed soon after and showcased a staged party attended by sex-crazed participants, but with a twist. It starred all Hush Hush’s contract men corrupting innocent girls. They then went on to develop “BachelorPartyFuckFest”, a staged bachelor party complete with eager strippers negotiating their film debuts. Before his departure from Hush Hush he directed his first gonzo feature starring Brianna Love.Destrie has grown a to become head photographer for Interavid/HushHush while sharing directing duties. He is interested in directing features as well as music videos and his own sites while always staying on the cutting edge of new technology and techniques. He is eager to continue producing quality content and creating new relationships in the adult industry.
