About Me


Hannah Garred is a professional comedy actress and singer. She is from Brighton and was born into a very artistic family. When Hannah was 16 she was awarded a place on the Musical Theatre course at The BRIT School for Performing Arts in Croydon. During this time Hannah played Jeanie in the musical production of Hair, took the childrens play Fantastic Mr Fox around schools in south london as part of a TIE tour and was hightly featured in th end of year showcase. In 2002 Hannah won a scholarship to train for three years on the Acting course at The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA). While at ALRA Hannah's credits include: Mrs Dianty Fidget in The Country Wife directed by Lennox Greaves, Theresa in Sliding with Suzanne directed by Alyson Spiro, Beatirce in A View From the Bridge directed by James Tillit, Abigail in The Crucibe directed by Vanessa Brooks, Helena in A Misummer Nights dream directed by Rob Swinton, Sarah in The Accrington Pals directed by Robert Demeger and Louise in Top Girls, directed by Sarah Wolley. Since leaving drama school Hannah has appeared in an advert for Burger King. She was also part of 'For the love of money' a short film directed by Wafed Sabri. Hannah also worked with Christian Winkler on a devised play 'Best before End' to be performed at the BAC. I just love Kill Bill. Walk the line. I love Richard Curtis films so Love actully and four weddings etc. I thought The King of Scotland was amazing. Dreamgirls floats it. Romeo and Juliet is my all time love. I loved Ray and A taste of honey. Would love to be a bond girl one day so I have to add them!
