Bassist and Bandleader for Blake Shelton

About Me

My name is Rob and I play bass guitar for a living. I am from St. Albans, WV and have lived in Nashville since 1994. I have been playing with country artist Blake Shelton for about eleven years, and I love my job. My life has always revolved around music, and I am very blessed to be able to pay for my tattoos (and bills) by traveling all over the place, jumping around on stage, and playing music with some of my best friends every night. I am very fortunate that my job as Blake's bassist and bandleader affords me the opportunity to work on my own music when I am not out on the road. (And thanks to technology, even when I am.) I have what I think is a pretty bad ass rock "band" that I am pretty stoked about. For the past year I have been working on my own rock album with my friend Kyle Miller. I wrote a bunch of stuff and we started out with the idea of me tracking everything and Kyle producing, but I got lucky to get Tracy Broussard to come in and play drums. We now have the first song up here for sale, please buy it (you can come off a buck!) and let us know what you think. Let me know if you are having problems trying to download the song, some people have but the problem appears to be solved. Thanks, Rob
