I drive a pick-up truck and think blue jeans are the greatest invention of mankind. I have two cats that are like children to me. I love to read, enjoy cooking, am addicted to the internet, get excited about college football, and am a pro at traveling. I am a Catholic, and my faith is deeply important to me. I was born and raised in Central Texas -- I will ALWAYS be a Texan -- but I've now packed up all my belongings and moved to Nashville, Tennessee.
I got my degree in Journalism after finding a true love for the style of writing, and what I felt to be a natural talent for the business, back in high school. I spent a year-and-a-half at a small town newspaper doing a little bit of everything before going to help my parents at the family business.
Christmas Eve 2006, on a trip to Oregon, I got engaged to my best friend. We were married on January 6, 2007. I love my husband with all of my being, and I am blessed with the life we have.
I am back to pursuing my love for writing all the while keeping up with our home. My husband is a touring musician, and I work to keep up with his ever-changing and busy schedule. Life keeps me on my toes, but I think I do pretty good keeping up.
I love my life.
