Sounds Like:When it comes down to finding a Producer, Composer, Re-mixer and DJ who stands out from the crowded world of electronic music, Ariel Baund is todays dance music prodigy in the flesh. He's produced records and Remixes for Bedrock, Ministry of Sound, Strictly Rhythm, and AM-PM to name a few, as well as remixed artists like Jimmy Van M, Ultra Naté, The B-52s, and Oasis, making him one of dance music's most in demand producers.A master in the studio, he has recorded at Sony & Strictly Rhythm Studios in New York, he has produced at Sumsonic Studios in England, and runs Elektribe Studio's in Miami. On an everyday basis, Baund is in his studio creating a whole new dimension of sonic experiences while generating exciting and dynamic sounds in his original tracks and re-mixes. Hes an expert with machines, and his knowledge of studio equipment goes well beyond that of many of his peers; when it comes to yesterday's classic and today's new technologies - he is electronic music's sound engineer par excellence.Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, he developed his musical background and planted his roots in the industry at a very young age. He started producing House and Hard House records while working with EMI, BMG and Poligram in his hometown. He then began filling dance floors as a DJ at Bunker, Cruz Penelope, El Alma, Ku, Line, and Pacha, following one of his most memorable residencies at Buenos Aires's The Hacienda, where he performed for close to 6,000 people every weekend. In 1995 he came to the U.S. in search for new musical horizons, and has gone from playing at underground nightclubs in his hometown, to playing regularly for South Beach's hottest nightclubs while becoming one of South Florida's musical wonders. As a DJ, Baund has traveled the world back and forth, satisfying all kinds of crowds. Among his unforgettable sets is when U2 welcomed him to play at The Kitchen in the magical city of Dublin.Even Jack Nicholson has followed the ingenious rhythm of DJ Ariel Baund while making an appearance at one of Miami Beach's poshest parties.Global Underground, Ministry of Sound, Perfecto Records, Gatecrasher, Gods Kitchen, Renaissance, Ultra Music Festival, Space Festival, and Pacha have been covered by Ariel Baund's enchanting musical blanket.
