DEIMOS

The Peruvian group Deimos was born in 1995 of a simple musical idea that between several friends it went more and more returning professional and evolved. The band only played covers in its beginnings, but in the later Deimos it began to work in its own songs which left the influences of Synthpop and New Wave very noticeable. Groups like Blancmange, Alphaville, SoftCell and Depeche Mode were important part in the musical consolidation that the band acquired with happening of the years. In year 2002 they send his first album to local level titled "Azul, gris." which compiles 12 of the best songs the group had composed to date. Between these times the band also participated in important live presentations in Peru. A show next to Melotron and another one next to Elegant Machinery. At the moment Jose, Rodolfo and Julio (Deimos recent lineup) are dedicated to the selection of the new songs that will go in the second Album of the band. 2007 was a great year and a sad one too, for Rodolfo (lead singer) left the band to pursue his personal life, although we regret his departure we are happy for him. currently we are looking for the next voice of DEIMOS. in the meantime Julio is doing the singing for the band check out the 3 new songs with his voice.

La agrupacion peruana Deimos nacio en el ano 1993 de una sencilla idea musical que entre varios amigos se fue tornando cada vez mas profesional y evolucionada. La banda se dedico a tocar solamente covers en sus inicios, pero en lo posterior Deimos empezo a trabajar en temas propios los cuales dejaban muy marcadas las influencias Synthpop y New Wave que tenian. Grupos como Blancmange, Alphaville, SoftCell y Depeche Mode fueron parte importante en la consolidacion musical que la banda adquirio con el pasar de los anios. En el anio 2002 lanzan su primer album a nivel local titulado "Azul Gris" el cual recopila 12 de los mejores temas que los integrantes del grupo habia compuesto hasta la fecha. Entre estas epocas la banda tambien incursiona en importantes presentaciones en vivo en Peru como lo es un show junto a Melotron y otro junto a Elegant Machinery. Actualmente Jose, Rodolfo y Julio (integrantes de Deimos) estan dedicados a la seleccion los nuevos temas que iran en el segundo disco de la banda. Recientemente DEIMOS sufrio la baja de su cantante, Rodolfo, quien por razones personales tuvo q abandonar el grupo. actualmente nos encontramos en busca de la proxima voz de DEIMOS. pronto habran sorpresas.
