Established in 1999, in Murfreesboro, TN, the Block Boyz without a doubt are considered Murfreesboros finest. In February 2000, the release of their debut album with Crimage Records entitled Block Back Boomin, hit the streets and stores with a bang! With their street rhymes and individual flavas, the public grabbed a hold and would not let go, thus creating the Block Boyz as a household name. So what happens next is needless to say. Three years later in January 2003, their long awaited self-released sophomore album (on their independent label, Block 2 Block Entertainment) entitled Ghetto Hillbillies was hot off the press and leaving the shelf faster than the stores could put them out. Many area stores stated, They are the top-selling local artist we carry. November 2004, the Block Boyz dropped Block 2 Block Mix Tape Vol. 1. This just stepped the game up another level, preparing everyone for their junior album All or Nothin, due out soon.With their excellent delivery of rhyme content, bangin southern style tracks, and collaborations with featured artists such as Pimp C of UGK, Webbie of Trill Ent, Mr. Lucci of Crawl 2 Ball Records, BG of Chopper City, Hakeem aka Hakizzle, Papa Reu, Yung Joc of Block Ent/Bad Boy, Homebwoi of Collipark Music, and list goes on, Block 2 Block Ent are presenting themselves to the world as a force to be reckoned with.
