Kalldean 23 from Battersea, south-west London has arrived. He is a singer/songwriter, soulsta, lyricist and a producer, (when he has the time). Kalldean (aka Teknikall) singing style is a mixture of hip-hop soul vocals with a contemporary R&B sound. His love for the ART of singing and song writing runs deep. His observational lyrical style draws on personal and social experiences, he finds that expressing himself through song is a way for him to releases aspects of himself and messages that would otherwise be contained. To hear and see him sing live and on stage is to know that this person is full of emotion. His style is unique, yet had traces of influential artists that Kalldean holds in high esteem. Though it is always Kalldean.
His passion for music grew from a very young age, influenced by artist such as Immature, Boyz 2 Men, Jodeci, TLC, Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles as well as all the obvious plethora of other RnB based artists. Kalldean knew that he had a talent. It manifested itself to a point where he could think of nothing other then being a success in the music industry.
He joined So-Solid crew in 2000 and had a couple hits out on road and in the charts, So Solids both albums "They dont know" and "2nd Verse" singing both the Intro. & Outro In 2002 he featured on Oxide & Neutrino's sixth single "Dem Girlz (I dont know why)"from their 2nd album "Two Steps Ahead" and in 2004 on Asher D's Debut album "Street Sibling" on a track called "There for you", quickly gaining a formidable reputation as an up an coming UK artist he realised that progression was only possible through his own efforts. Inspired by those around him that were making things happen, Kalldean decided that hed continue with his prospective career regardless of the changes that were taking place. He has an extensive library of tracks and is now in the process of contacting labels and other entertainment mediums to see where he can take it to next..
Kalldean continues to push his name out there, currently working on "Sign To The Block pt2" Mix CD with Black Piranha aka Face, already they have received a good response from "Sign To The Block " pt1 Double Mix CD and will continue to make music. Kalldean is a deep thinker, some subjects not readily available to be put into song. He watches the way the world turns and is dumbfounded by the way we live as a people. As he has a family of his own, (a 6year old daughter), he is striving to make a better existence for them. He loves life, reality, instances, and family. Therefore his songs reflect exactly that. .
