Bottle Of Fire...Here We Go.

About Me

Welcome to Tramp Sinatra.
Tramp Sinatra is about being free. Removing all constraints and being who you want to be. Knowing you wanna get out on the road but you don't know where to. Playing guitar loudly and badly. Playing the blues with no technical knowledge of the discipline. Just playing the blues. Not knowing the blues. Just playing the blues. Knowing is nothing. The ones who know nothing are the ones closest to the truth, closest to true knowledge. We, as a band, know nothing. We don't know how to play. We don't which musical direction we will be heading in. We don't know where our music will take us. We just don't know.
Boys in bands are supposed to have the answer. They're supposed to save us from the monotony of your/our miserable lives. To take us somewhere else. But what do boys in bands know? Chords? We have no answers. Thats why, we'd like you to invite you to come with us. On our journey.
History is never chronological. There is no lineage. There is no story, just people. Riff-raff linked by music, dreams, art and love. Fellow travellers have come and gone. This is where we are. A Gang. A Band of Droogs. The Bash Street Kids. Holmes sings and leads, attacking from the front. Harry plays a mean machine-gun rythmn assault. Lewis fuses effortless melody and harmony. Merv, the funk force, Captain Metronome, The Genius. Max provides the beats; the snaps, punches, strikes and stomps. All creating The Sound of The Sinatra.
Tramp Sinatra are heavily influenced by British Films, Classic Literature and the sweet sounds and heavy resonance of Motown, Trojan, Apple, Elektra, Stax, Stiff, HellCat, Def Jam, Island, Sun, Factory, 2-Tone, Rough Trade and everything in between.
We deal in junk. What we've got are the things people throw out. But a stopped clock still gives the right time twice a day.
